This little vase is a lovely piece. The pictures surrounding it appear to be telling a story involving a man and four women. One is sitting on a throne with a geisha at her side. Behind the "queen" stands another geisha who hides a sword behind her back. It appears a man is attempting to enter and approach the "queen", but a geisha holds him at bay with another weapon. On the bottom of the vase it reads, "Princessa, Toyo, Made in China 1988. The number 10 in a triangle is also on the bottom. All lettering is in red.The vase measures nearly 4" tall and 4" wide with an opening of 1 5/8". It has scuff marks on the bottom, but is otherwise is great condition with no knicks or abrasions.
